I have been having problems with my wrists and thumbs for coming up to 3 years now. Found out today i have to have a 1.5 cm cyst removed from the tendons in my left hand and an mri on my right to see if the problem is the same
It will take place in the next 3 months which means DH will still not be home. How on earth am i going to cope with 2 small children with only half a hand?
I have thought about waiting till DH is home but have already been signed off work for 6 weeks and i can do so little at the moment anyway and the pain is awful.
Apparently if it had been treated 2 years ago at the first hospital i was seen at then i would not need surgery now , but they wrote it off as because i had children i used my hands more and therefore they would hurt [sceptical]
