Tendonitis in arm, feel like ripping it off

Anyone else had this? Picked up heavy full saucepan about a month ago, to drain potatoes. Held it a bit awkwardly and it really hurt the elbow. 4 weeks later I want to chop arm off rather than put up with awful "toothache" type pain that now goes from shoulder to wrist. Very very tender in outside of elbow so am assuming it's tendinitis. Can't believe how painful it is! Ibuprofen takes edge off for a bit. Anone had similar and able to assure me it will ease up soon?

I'd expect it to settle down after two or three weeks, to be honest.

Please go to see your GP.

Try putting ice on it

I've had a lot of tendonitis & one wrong move is never how I got it. I dunno what you have, but I don't think the self-diagnosis makes sense.
