Pain following Ablation

I had an ablation about a year ago to deal with very heavy periods (constant flooding and anaemia). My periods are now lighter but the pain I have with them is terrible - I'm on codeine for 3 days a month and can't drive during this time. Wondered if anyone else has experienced this?

Did you have pain before?
I had an ablation and git pains as the lining started to grow back. Previously I had endo and ended up with adenomyosis which caused a lot of pain.

Thank you - no I didn't have this pain before - used to get achey feeling but now it's a definite, sharp pain. I had wondered about endo. I think I'll ask to be referred back to the gynae consultant.

Has your adenomyosis been treated?

I think a referal would be a good idea.
