When is it going to end? It feels like we've been ill for so long. First we had a cold, sore throat etc.. then just as that's getting better we go down with Flu, chest infections etc... we're still not over that and DS2 threw up 2 nights running and I started last night. Getting totally fed up anyone else had the whole lot?

I'm home from work today with D&V, had it since Sunday night. Nothing left inside me now.

DD has it too, and have not long got back from the hosptial because she had an asthama attack this morning.

Never rains but it pours.

Aww, your poor dd, asthma on top of it all!

She's OK, they gave her steroids and told me to make sure she drinks loads.

It's hard to cope with changing a dirty nappy that has leaked all over her PJs when you're vomiting yourself.

Shall we wallow in self pity?

Same story here. Just getting over stinking colds last week then dd starts being sick saturday. Sunday around midnight I start being sick, 10 mins later ds (2) vomits all over his cot, 1hr later dh joins in. All 3 of us were up ll night taking it is turns. I am better this morning, although tired, dh is still not great but has had to go to work, and has to fly to NY for work tomorrow, and poor ds has terrible D, although V has stopped. He hasn't eaten anything for 2 days . It is going to be along few days, until DH gets back.

Crap being on your own when they're ill isn't in COV?

I was up most of the night, she was having breathing difficulties, and stomach cramps. I managed to find time to vomit a few times though!

Dh seems to have a knack of being out the country when the children are ill. It must be a coincidence because these trips are booked way in advance but still...

What was so sad was how terrified ds was when he was vomitting as he had no idea what was happening, dd was the same as even though she has been sick a fair bit recently it has been a long time since she vomitted, and she was asking me what was happening whilst doing it

Welshy, hopefully with spring around the corner all these bugs will start to fizzle out and we can look forward to some warm, sunny weather. Or at least it will allow me to get all the sheets and towels that fell victim of this bug to dry more quickly

DD is the same, she is really scared of being sick.

Yes, bring on the summer!!
