Went to see my doctor and was told my cholesterol is 6.6 which is high. I got a lecture about not eating fatty foods etc and went home feeling quite concerned . I know nothing about cholesterol levels so I started to do some research and I now understand that there are good cholesterol levels and bad cholesterol levels which provide a ratio which is perhaps more important than the total cholesterol reading . So I'm wondering if my results are that bad or even bad at all. Anyone care to interpret my readings.

Have a look on healthunlocked.com and type in cholesterol support. I'm on a forum there for thyroid problems. Hope this helps.
