Any suggestions for getting medicine down?

Does anyone have any tried and tested ways of administering medicine? My year old twins flail about, flapping their arms, and sending it flying off the spoon. They both have bad colds and have gone to bed covered with sticky Mediced! It tastes foul so they refuse to take it from a bottle or cup, mixed with milk or juice.

Do any of you more experienced Mums have a way of doing this? Thanks!

Have you tried using one of those medicine syringes?

We usually find that a plastic syringe from the chemists has more success -pharmacists often give them to you with prescriptions these days but, if not, you can buy them for pennies.

Yes, squirt it into their cheek a bit at a time so they can't spit it out. Poor you having twins with colds!

I'm afraid that it's a syringe and pinning them down and squirting it into the side of their mouth at the back whilst they scream and drink nearby for if theyu have trouble or start to choke in our house only way

If you make a game of it, kind of peepo and everytime they open their mouths, squirt a bit in, that might work [hmmm]
