How many lumps

When you feel down your neck from chin to chest, how many lumps do you feel ??

I can feel three and the one nearest my chest feels large and a wee bit tender.

Is this right?

I can only feel my oesophagus really? No lumps. Unless I've misunderstood? Do you mean lymph glands?

Yes, that's what I mean.
I can feel my oesophagus, but then another 2 lumps after that , further down.

A goitre, perhaps?

The tender lump might be an enlarged lymph node. Perhaps worth seeing the GP if it persists.
