Virus??

Started (on Saturday) feeling dizzy whenever I moved my head in certain directions. Now I've got the most horrendous sore throat but feel fine other than these two symptoms.

Are there any viruses going round like this at the moment?
Don't want to waste doctors time

Sounds just like a virus that's going round here. FIL had the most awful sore throat on Tuesday night but felt fine otherwise (he's always dizzy anyway because of meds).

Yep plenty of it and it feels shit.

After 3 days and nights of hell I seem to have made a miraculous recovery this morning! So there is light at the end of the tunnel.
