DS (17 months) just took a tumble and bumped mouth on concrete paving slab

Really fat lip now. Can you do anything to help or do I just have to wait until the swelling goes down?

Thanks ll. Tried that but he wouldn't hold still long enough. Stopped crying fairly soon after it happened, but it's completely changed his appearance which is really weird and freaking me out a bit!

Am proud to say he has managed to eat most of his lunch which I thought would be a problem with a swollen mouth, so hopefully it should right itself soon enough.

You feel so guilty, don't you, when they fall. But he's still learning to walk and you can't be there to catch them the whole time!

Thanks again for your help.

I did manage to do the lots of kisses, yes!

He's not having much luck at the moment. Tripped over a wooden frog yesterday (as you do) and bit his tongue!
