Exhausted despite good sleep

Has anyone had this or know what it could be? I am sleeping quite well. 7.5 hours at least. And not waking up in the night. No depression or anxiety. Possibly slightly constipated. No other noticeable symptoms.
I had his same feeling a couple of weeks ago, and it lasted nearly a week. I've been eating well, limiting alcohol intake, getting to bed on time. Now it's back. It's not a vague tiredness, it's extreme. I almost think I shouldn't drive or be at work. I can pinpoint the exact times when it started. I have made a GP appointment but that is over a week away.
Any ideas?

My first thought would be this virus that pp have posted about on here recently, which is exhausting people and keeps coming back, I've had a touch of it and has included upset stomach.

The mention of slight constipation suggests possible under active thyroid,if it's long term, which could be detected by simple blood tests at your gp surgery. These tests should also look for low iron and and you could ask for vitamin d levels to be checked as this is not always done routinely.

These are the things that spring to my mind. Good luck with sorting this out!

Pregnant?

MajesticWhine · 13/03/2017 13:31

Not pregnant - I have an IUD and have not had sex since last period.
Yeah maybe a post viral thing - I had pneumonia at Christmas time but I've been better for 6 weeks.

I think its a virus as I felt exhausted sick and dizzy for weeks and have stopped driving as I was scared I would pass outfits driven me nuts get well soon

God I could have written this. I've actually gone to a Chinese doctor - as I don't think its a virus as I get it on and off every few weeks and my GP was fairly dismissive. They've given me some herbal medicine which is beyond disgusting but so far actually seems to be working. Maybe something to consider if it keeps going

Thanks for replies. I will probably hold back on the Chinese medicine for now - but I won't rule it out Smile
