I had a total thyroidectomy 9 years ago and now take 125/150mg of levo alternate days. All of my bloods have been 'within range' for the past 7 years or so but I still have hypo symptoms, for example, I have gained around 5 stone since the op that neither diet nor excersice can shift!
I also have periodic 'crashes' every few months that seem to come on out of the blue. Qhen it happens I get awful fatigue and could happily sleep for days. I also get very down and weepy about all sorts of trivial stuff.
Had to leave work early today as I was sooo tired and almost burst into tears in front of my boss and colleagues. Does anyone else get this? Sad
