For about 4/5 months now, I've been getting spots around my mouth/nose. They're not spots as such, they kind of come and go, never develop into something with a head that came be popped and move on!
The 'spot' isn't pimple shaped but can be quite wide with a shiny surface. I had been using sudocreme which had some effect but they never seemed to go completely. Someone suggested they might be a cold sore and they do seem to respond to cold sore cream but are still not going away completely and crop up in different places. They don't ever develop into what I know as a cold sore as the surface never breaks or oozes etc.
I'm not afflicted - I can cover them with makeup and get away with it, but it's just annoying that I can't get away from it. I'm scrupulous about hygiene as to avoid spreading whatever it is, but wondered if I've missed another skin compliant that this could be? Does this sound like a mild cold sore or something else?
