Ache behind eyes. What is this?

Had this for a few days now. Worse when just woken up. Not a headache as such put ache behind eyes when I look up/down atc.

Northerner, I hope you feel better soon. Are you stressed or tired? I suffer from severe migraines, which often start with painful eyeballs and aches behind my eyes. I rarely get an actual headache but it drains me and sometimes makes me feel a little sick. I suffer from inflamation of the optic nerve behind my right eye, which is the probable cause.
I suggest going to the opticians to make sure everything is okay with your eyes first and if it still gets worse, maybe consult your Doctor.
Are you sleeping well, eating well, hydrated?
Lots of things can cause this kind of feeling, hope you get well soon.

Do you wear glasses? Maybe its eye strain.

Sinusitis?
