Bacon high in fat and salt! cream high in fat!

Well if you're terrible, so am I

Seriously though, I now have one or 2 pieces of bacon once a month. Cream (not in cakes though) about once every 2 weeks.

It's really hard having to give up your faves - especially when you have medical reasons to do so.

I vaguely recall you vry recently went for a test of some sort - is this why you are asking?

Yes my Cholesterol has dropped to 6.3 from 7

So I thought that was good

i was thinking of getting my cholesterol levels check but i know i'd have to change loads of things i eat

Mercy · 02/03/2007 21:54

Katymac that is good!

If you have a search for 'lostinfrance', she explains how her dh pratically halved his cholesterol level in 6 months ( the diet is a bit hardcore though!)

Katymac · 03/03/2007 18:31

Is it the Dr was quite derogatory (sp) "It should be under 5"

I felt quite down & I'd been so pleased to get it down
