Should I visit my gp?

My last two periods have been very strange, I have been experiencing very light and prolonged bleeding which is almost spotting for around 2 weeks last month and this month it has been going on for almost 3 weeks now, this has never happened before and I am so worried. Does anyone have any idea what it could be? Should I book an appointment to see my gp?

Don't worry but definitely check with the GP. How old are you?

onthettcbus · 01/03/2017 22:50

I'm early twenties, I hope it's not early menopause.

Ah ok, I was going to say that (if you'd been my age). Don't worry but do go and ask. I had something similar years ago that was due to hormone imbalance and soon settled.

Yes I'm suspecting it may be something hormonal, maybe my thyroid.

How did you get on?

No appointments available for 2 weeks unfortunately!
