ds (21mo) likes to play with our electric toothbrush. i noticed in boots that the children's ones are only suitable from (4?) - is there a risk of him damaging his teeth or gums?

Really? My dd uses ours (with her own brushhead)and she's 23months. Hope someone will know the answer to this one...

peadiatric dentist told me that electric toothbrushes were fine for 22mnth old DS - so have "junior" brush heads that I put on my Braun toothbrush - gets the job done.

Realistically the heads are too big to clean properly, but it won't do any harm. I would appease him with a go with the electric one, the give them a quick going over with a brush suitable for their age.
