MIA Post Pregnancy Period

As the title said, I have had one post pregnancy period 37 days ago, hence I was expecting another period between 7 and 9 days ago and nothing.

Even though I knew it would be negative, I did a pregnancy test this morning and as expected it is negative.

Any idea when I can expect my period !?!

Don't know if this helps, my baby is eight months old now and my periods are still all over the place, and I used to run fairly regular. My periods at the moment are lasting up to ten days and are really late each time I expect one - its a bloody nightmare!
I asked the Doctor because I have polycystic ovaries, he said it takes up to twelve months for a womans body to get back to normal after birth and unfortunately you can only go with the flow (pardon the pun!)
I have settled down a bit more now, but at first, I wasn't even getting the tell tale signs - headaches, cramps etc - I am sure it will sort itself out.
Do you mind me asking if you were upset at the negative test - I had the same kind of experience at around my second/third period after birth - I don't know if it was hormones, but I was actually excited about not getting my period - then disappointed when I did the test - bizarre, am very pleased now it was just my body messing around!

don't know if it helps or not but i seem to be in the same position as you - last period (and first one since ds was born) over 50 days ago... loads of pg tests and BFN and we're deperate to be pg again so no answers but you're not alone MBBG so maybe its not that unusal???

i'm hoping that i'll just have 'missed' a month so fingers crossed for af in next couple of weeks...
