Growing pains

I've suffered from 'growing pains' on and off my whole life in my legs but they seem to be getting stronger and lasting for longer. My calf muscles really ache to the point it prevents me sleeping! Does anyone have any advice?

I should also say that I don't know if growing pains is the medical term but it what I've always called them. My husband says there's no such thing...!

we thought ds had growing pains
then he had a football injury and needed an x ray , we found out he has osgood schlatters disease.
those growing pains were endless stress fractures ,and now he has bone malformation - his legs are a painful mess.
id go to the doctors and get them checked just in case.

It may be high creatinine kinase levels, which could be caused by all sorts of things. Get to the gp.
