Skin tag suddenly getting much larger

So this week the skin tag I have just on my bikini line has gotten at least twice the size and it is swollen and uncomfortable. Anybody else have this and know why this might have happened? I swear it is still getting bigger and is rubbing on my underwear. It is sore to touch it too now.

It might not be a skin tag. My daughter had a fleshy lump on her face which grew rapidly. It was something called a spitz naevus ( totally benign, a type of mole, ) and they removed it by shaving it off. Unfortunately it grew straight back so it was removed more deeply a second time. It has left a small scar but hopefully that should be it gone for good.

Thanks for replies. It is now about 2cm long acing been I'd say about .5cm. So it is dangling. It got caught in my underwear on Wednesday and it's been getting worse even since. Going to try to see Gp this week but hard with work to get there

Yes, get it seen to. Don't worry though, these things can grow really quickly, esp when they're in places where they're being rubbed by clothes etc. Let us know how you get on.
