Stomach virus or what?

Two weeks ago I spent a whole night feeling waves of nausea but didn't actually vomit, since then I have days when it seems to return, plus stomach cramps and diarrhoea, feeling exhausted, headache... for two weeks? Glands on my neck are up sine an ear infection 6 weeks ago, seems to all merge into one. So exhausted and feeling awful today. Is there a virus going around that does this?

Oh, and I requested some blood tests last week which came back normal!

I rang the GP about a stomach ache that my DS has had and she said there was a stomach virus going round,where you get the pain and discomfort but no actual d&v. Hope you feel better soon.

Yes! I finally recovered from this last week. Had 2 weeks of D&V on and off, nausea, fever, headaches etc. kept being sent home from work. I thought it was pregnancy related but GP said not!

Plenty of rest - hope you're over it soon.

Pregnant as well! Poor you, I had a similar one when pregnant and was vomiting all the time anyway, horrible!

Yes I was going to bed really early and just had no energy for anything. Looking back I probably should have had a chunk of time off to get better but it kept seeming to ease.

I had a similar thing a couple of weeks ago, it didn't last long though. Think there are some viruses going round, doesn't mean they're nice though!!

Oh yes. Had the worst flu ever from January for three weeks. Then sort of recovered but not fully coz I was still feeling crap. Then last week my Breasts were so painful like bruised and then got really sick and the worst stomach cramps and the runs. Tonsils were up for ages and for the last couple of days had aches and pains like someone had cracked my spine in half. Exhausted till no end.
My whole household had projectile vomiting too. Today we are slowly getting back to normal ish.

Same here then dizzy and nausous and bad stomach. Blood test can!e back OK.I hope everyone feels better. Soon and I can start driving again now it sound like a bug.

Glad to know it's so common, I've been fine today but I'm sort of expecting it to make a comeback! Weird... did any of you had an ear infection/labyrinthitis first, with dizziness and headaches?

We had it.

Dd had fever then 12h vomiting then later that week her ear drum burst.
Dd2 had 3 days of d&v.
I had nausea and cold fluey feeling and diarrhoea for 2 days then earache for 2 days.
The kids would cough and then vomit

I thought mine was anxiety or an ear infection as travelling made me feel sick all of a sudden.my daughter hundreds of miles away has had it and her bf now.This week I covered my boss as he caught it.I thought it was just me.I feel back to my old self today.
