Will my 5 month dd definitely get ds' chicken pox?

Anybody got any reassuring stories of siblings who didn't catch it? We're soon off on holiday and could really do without her getting it in the next few weeks. If she does get it when will it be? TIA

My dd3 is just getting over chicken pox and my dd4 and ds2 haven't come out in it yet. The doctor did say that it could take up to 2 weeks to the day to come out in siblings.

Good luck with your holiday.

Not necessarily (and OMG is she 5mo already?!). I had it, my sister had it, my brother didn't.

Poor DS - hope he's not suffering with itchiness too much

If you've had it and you're bfeeding, he'll have some natural immunity from your milk too.

ds just had it, and dd didnt get it, mind you she has the immune system of a rhino

My 1 yo had them, then exactly two weeks to the day, my 3 yo and my 5 you got them... so all siblings came down with them, 2 weeks between them. I do know that they don't always spread through everyone, as my friends ds missed out on them completely, and she has two other children who did get them.
