The nail that keeps on splitting...

I have a fingernail of doom. Generally functional, but about 1 mm has split down the side. I keep it clipped to stop it catching, but it simply will not grow out. Thankfully it's not getting any worse, but I'd like to fix it. Any marvelous suggestions?

My thumb nails do this from time to time. My solution is to superglue over the split until it grows out. Seems to work.

Watching with interest.
Thumb does this all the time currently has a plaster on it to stop it catching as that hurts like a bitch!

I have the same problem, and MNers recommended applying CND solar oil daily. It has certainly helped, but I still have to keep the nail short

Superglue sounds good :) I'm sure I've got a half used bottle somewhere...

Have it overlayed with acrylic or hard gel.

another vote for superglue, need to add more to it now and again though.
