"Old Lady" Flabby Arm Nightmare!

Whilst trying on stuff this week I noticed to my horror that I have flabby upper arms. Just the back - obviously my biceps are nicely toned from 5 years of carrying small children about.

In 4 weeks I have to wear a sleeveless bridesmaid's dress - how can I tone my arms before then??

Me too SoupDragon ... we're going to a wedding in 10 days, and I am desperate to spend some serious money on a frock. (I've lost quite a bit of weight so want to celebrate). But everything seems to be sleeveless and strappy. I HATE shopping, and I'm getting really fed up. Moan, moan

Can we get off the subject of cheesy weddings and back to my arms please? I'm not exactly sure how we got onto cheesy weddings and cr*p wedding dresses.

OOH just catching up!

I bet everyone was really glad to know more about Shawn and Tabitha! I think it's sweet considerate and may do it when dp and i get hitched!

Second thoughts, my past should probably not be mentioned in the same context as my wedding

Angeliz · 24/06/2004 20:01

ROFL at the scary wedding too,(think this is VER funny thread), she looks like sh'e eating him!!!!!!!!!

Paula71 · 24/06/2004 23:25

Soupy there is an exercise where you do arm raises on a chair, facing forward with your arms behind you. I think that helps with bingo wings, I also have the fantastic biceps from being ds twins' carthorse these past 30 months.

Oh and one of you start a funny wedding site thread, this is hilarious....did you read Shawn's poetry? Some things should be kept private. I now don't feel at all fat, thanks folks.
