About 13 years ago i got hit on my nose and it damaged the grislle (sp) on my nose...ive had an operation to shave the cartridges as my nose is not 100% straight..only about 99%. Anyway over the years ive had constinous sinus headaches and was given sprays.

2 years ago, i was given diamorphine during induction (labour) but had a BAD ass reaction and i needed to blow my nose, after i was throwing up for england, which came out a handful of dark green phelgm..i could breathe at last and the pain on my forehead and head went till i caught another cold (im always forever catching colds since i got hit on my nose).

Now i went back to the ENT clinic adn they said they cannot see anything wrong with it BUT i could poss have an allergy???..... and there is a result that came back (as far as im aware ive never had an allergy prob before i got hit on my nose but i cant breathe very well as i breathe quite heavy same as if im full of cold permantly).

does that mean they have found the problem??

Maybe it's not a cold but rhinitis. Clear runny nose due to allergy. Perhaps the nose injury was coincidental and made you aware of your nasal outpourings .
I get hideous sinusitis due to allergies. It's awful, isn't it?

i also find that if im stressed out, i get a thumping headache or if its dry air eg a electric stove that my mum had got, that kicks off my sinuses.

I have the same thing with my nose. Sometimes its so itchy its unbearable. Yet the ENT specialist stuck a camera up it ^ said there was nothing wrong. (Embarassingly, I fainted cos it was so horrible! )so I suppose it must an allergy to something. I just don't know what! And btw, I haven't been hit on the nose!
