Spinal Stenosis

After getting huge amounts of pain in my lower calves when running and fast walking (and numb feet if I kept running through the pain), physio, blood tests etc my GP had a lumbar x ray done, and it seems I have a 'flattened' disc at L5/S1 and general degeneration/bone spurs.
I don't have any back pain at all, am fit, slimmish and 44.

He's prescribed a month of naproxen, but two weeks in and it doesn't seem to make any difference - am not running, but still feels as bad walking.

Has anyone had this pseudoclaudication thing and got better? I feel far to young for this

This can be congenital
Ie: you were born like that.
I have congenital spinal stenosis.
I have no answers how to fix itSad

Really? And I wouldn't have noticed before? My mum has severe spinal stenosis, but hers wasn't a problem till her 60's

I never knew about mine till it was found incidentally in a scan for something else

My mum also has it, but wasn't a problem for her until her mid 60s .
She had spinal surgery last year.
I was probably late 30s
