This may be the stupidest of all questions but a few years ago i had my thyroid removed. I've just noticed my goitre seems to be back (plus I'm feeling dreadful at the moment). Im booked in for a blood test but does anyone know if Im imagining things or can a goitre re-form ? thanks

It can if a little bit of tissue was left behind, yes. Ask the GP to refer you for an ultrasound Brew
