I had a baby 8 months ago. I am breastfeeding my baby. My periods returned when he was about 2-3 months old and my period was normal, 7 days long and medium flow. Then about a week after that I was spotting for 2-3 weeks on and off then I had another 'actual period' then I would spot again for 2 weeks and this is how my periods and bleeding have been happening. I am wondering do I go get this checked out or just put it down to breastfeeding? I don't want to be 'wasting' anyone's time but I also don't want to leave this because it seems like I'm always spotting with a few days in between.
