Pernicious Anemia/B12

Hi there,

Just finished two weeks of 'loading' injections.

When did you start to feel any better?
I still feel awful.

From personal experience, I didn't really start feeling better until about 2-3 weeks after the loading dose.

Conversely, my mum, who developed PA after I did, felt better within 2-3 days, so I guess it is different for everyone.

For me, it was about two weeks after the loading doses, though I was pretty wiped out for three months after coming home from hospital

I start feeling rubbish again about six weeks before the next injection is due, I've had the battle with my GP, but they just will not give anyone injections less than twelve weeks apart
