When you go back for your monthly check following insertion and the doc congratulates you with a high five as it's still there (in front of 2 students!).

I felt like I won the lottery today the cheery look on her face 🙄

Yes weird. Apparently my chart thing was 'very good' Blush

IronNeonClasp · 06/02/2017 20:38

Have you been feeling for the strings?

Confused

Getting my first coil soon so am watching with interest....

MrsBungle · 06/02/2017 21:07

I just had one inserted today! Bit crampy down my right hand side, can I ask how long that lasts?

QuitMoaning · 06/02/2017 21:10

Doesn't last long at all.
Mine was only a day and a bit of spotting.

Am halfway through my second (and probably last - I am that old!) one and the swap over was painful but for the rest of the time it has been bliss. No more painful periods.

SocksRock · 06/02/2017 21:13

I need mine swapped later this year, am not looking forward to it! I'll need one more after this ones...

MrsBungle · 06/02/2017 22:50

Thanks quit

Mrs Bungle I have had bleeding throughout first month, had to use pad everyday and still. Can last up to 3m apparently. I find that a bit of a chore. Also been quite crampy and crappy on and off.
