I am going to have to have gynecological surgery fairly soon, quite major, long recovery time. This will be the 3rd time at local hospital and I have lost all trust in them (and GP). I have never done it before, but does anyone know how I go about finding a consultant privately? How do you know they are any good? How is it arranged? What sort of costs there would be? Thank you.
