Ganglions

Does anyone know if you can get ganglions on finger knuckles? I've got a hard pea shaped lump on the first joint of my index finger, my mum is getting all freaked but I think it's just a ganglion.

yes, i get these, I have had a few ganglions, some on my knuckles, one on the back of my hand and one on my wrist. They tend to come and go over a period of months. I read that the finger ones can be a sign of arthritis.

I've got one on the index finger joint knuckle of my left hand.
