I had a fasting blood test today

The phlebotonist (sp?) said the dr was checking my blood sugars & my lipids...I don't know what they are

Lipids is another word for fats - sounds like they are checking your cholesterol levels.

Katymac · 23/02/2007 21:17

Gee they wil have fun then

My cholesterol was 7 last time it was checked

After several months of careful dieting it was the same apparently "some people have high cholesterol"

They didn't check my BP btw - but it is normally dramatically/dangerously low
