Itching hands...what could it be?

For the last three days on and off I have had itching hands.

I was taking amoxicillin and finished them a couple of days ago so thought it could be an allergic reaction to them, although the itching only occurred on the last day of me taking them.

Then I've had the itching again randomly today as well. It feels like the more I use my hands the more the tingling and itching becomes.

Does anyone have any experience of this themselves?

My mum mentioned it could be my liver which I hope it isn't and I have recently had blood tests for liver function and all fine and I don't see what would cause my liver to be under pressure except for taking the amoxicillin Confused

Hiya. Itching hands can definitely be a sign of an allergic reaction. Go back to your GP.

Have your hands got really cold? And then warned up quickly?

Ummm no not really.

I'm going to go back and see my GP if it continues

Thank you
