My husband has an inguinal hernia, for the last couple of weeks he has been coughing away and this is causing the hernia to buldge and feel uncomfortable. Yesterday he was complaining of tummy ache and today lower backache, I was wondering whether this could be a symptom of the hernia becoming problematic. We are lucky enough to have a walk in centre close by, but if tummy and backache aren't generally connected to hernias I don't want to waste their precious time.
