What sort of toothbrush should an 8yo use?

That's it really. On the basis that the kids' ones seem only to take them to 6, I have been looking for a soft adult's one, but can't find any. Is a medium one ok? What does anyone else do, and what do the dentists say?

Some of you have 8yo's don't you?
What sort of toothbrushes do you use for them?

We have changed to a Braun recharable with the standard brushes. It seems to help and the hygeanist nodded with what I took as approval when I mentioned it. Sorry I can't spell

An electric one - they are great. I can really recommend them as my younger dd was absolutely useless at brushing her teeth but wouldn't let me near her! The head on them is quite small too.

We use Sainsbury's own make kids electric (well, battery) toothbrushes. DS1 is 9. Our dentist seems quite happy with them.
