Over the last year my periods have changed which is obviously my hormones anyway over the past 6 months I have been getting spots yes spot as in the whitehead version on my labia and they are very painful, is this normal or should I be arranging a visit to my gp. Tia

make an appt with your G.P. or family planning as you can be annonymous there if you are embarrassed.

A friend of mine told me she had somethng similar a few years back - she said they were almost blister-like. It turned out to be Herpes (sorry, don't want to worry you but thought better mention it)

Yes, definitely go to the GP, or if it's a man and you're embarrassed, try making an appointment with the practise nurse.

If they are only occasional, maybe they are ingrown hairs-type-of-spots?

If there are lots, that would suggest something else and you'd be better seeing your local GUM clinic.
