Slapped Cheek... a rash which makes you look like you've been slapped. also afaik.... comes with feeling a litle off colour too

Tell her to go to GP. This can be serious he should take blood tests.
I only know this as we have had Slapped cheek in school and have had several pregnancies. My Nursery nurse was found to have had it when she found out she was pregenant and she had to have extra scans. Everything was fine.

It is most likely that she is immune. It can cause problems with pregnancy less than 20 weeks - possibility of miscarriage. Get her to phone her GP or midwife for reassurance. Her immunity can be checked.

I agree with mears that she's probably immune, but I contracted it at 24 weeks and was given weekly scans to check for hydrops, so she should definitely get her blood checked.
