just been to the doctor, my right boob is sore to touch, just under nipple. i have had soreness in the other one before and it went away.

after checking at the weekend i thought i could feel something lump like but wasn't sure if it's always there.

docor has given me antibiotics, it might be a cyst she said and to come back in week.

bit worried now

More than likely it is a cyst, they have certain fell to them which , I assume , your GP has noted.

If you are worried get back in touch and ask to be referred to the breast unit anyway, they will assess you and probably do an ultrasound, mainly for your reassurance.

i know you are proberly thinking horrible things (the worst) but that doesnt normally cause pain (in most cases), so dont worry its proberly a cyst or blocked ducked or something similar.

i found a lump about a year ago - god was i scared and assumed i was going to die of 'C' but when i went for my scan to find out what it was i was reading in the waiting room so many different lumps and bumps you can get.

mine was ok - just a cyst. The doctors should now if its anything bad or not.

Are you or have your been pregnant recently?

Good luck

Don't be worried - there's various things it could be. I went to the docs last year with a painful boob and was horrified when she said she thought it was a cyst. I know I should have been relieved - but really I was expecting her to say "it's just your hormones, go away" so to find out it was actually something, however insignificant, was a shock.
I went to the breast clinic for a scan and they actually decided it wasn't a cyst, it was hormonal after all, and just to do with a build up of fluid at certain times of the month (even though it was lasting for two weeks at a time).
I hope the antibiotics sort it out and if not, definitely ask for a scan, even if just to put your mind at rest.
