PVCs when unwell - any experiences?

A few years ago I started having what felt like skipped heart beats. It didn't happen very often and was dismissed by my GP after some normal ECGs. Then about 18 months ago I had lots for about 3 days and found them quite distressing, and finally saw a cardiologist. Had lots of tests and he said they were just PVCs and nothing to worry about.

I heaven't really had them at all for about a year but currently I am unwell with a very bad cold or flu and have been having them. I am not overly worried but it is unpleasant. I remember the same happening once before when I was sick. I am otherwise a healthy woman in my early 40s...

Anyone else prone to them get them more when unwell?

Bump! Surely I am not the only one who gets annoying heart flutters...

Yes, I have them. They are worse when tired, stressed, unwell. Alcohol and too much food and caffeine also make them worse.
