My dd 3.5 had a throat infection at the end of last week. She saw the dr Friday and was given antibiotics. She is fine now but occasionally does a big cough which makes her eyes water. She is going stir crazy not getting out properly this w/e. However she still has a few spoonfuls left of the ABs. I don't know if she should go to pre-school tomorrow 9-12. If I keep her home she doesn't go again til Thursday am. What a dilemma!

Does she have a temp?
Does she keep being sick?
Is she sleepy?
Any of these then I would keep her off, if she isnt displaying any of these signs then go for it send her in!

hotandbothered · 18/02/2007 23:35

No none of those!
I think she should go but made the mistake of telling my mum what I was thinking and it was like I was admitting to utter neglect and abuse

TBH I have a phobia of DC being ill and normally would err on the side of caution, if your DD is not displaying any of those signs then I would be honest in saying send her! I would!

WideWebWitch · 18/02/2007 23:39

I'd send her.

colditz · 18/02/2007 23:40

I would.

brimfull · 18/02/2007 23:41

yup send her in,she'l be coughing for ages anyway if she's got the same bug everyone around here has.

pinkbubble · 18/02/2007 23:42

You are not abusing her or neglecting her- you are being a real Mum

mummytosteven · 18/02/2007 23:43

yes, she sounds like she's virtually recovered and is raring to go.
