Can hear the blood pumping in my head when I stand up after sitting for a while...

Have googled and it appears it's probably low blood pressure and that really there's nothing to be done about it. Does anyone else suffer from this? I used to get it after driving for more than about an hour, but now it seems to happen just when I've been sitting at my PC typing. Just wondered if anyone had any top tips, homeopathic, drug-based or otherwise! Thanks.

I get it too and I suffer with low blood pressure. Its got worse since having the kids. The only way I manage it is to sit back down and get up slower. I've heard drinking water temporarily increases your blood pressure - but I'm not sure thats true. Will wait to see whether you get any good advice.

I have low blood pressure and do the same as Spoo, if I stand up to quickly and feel light headed I sit back down again for a minute until it passes.
