Early morning waking

I've got into a stupid habit of waking at 5am. Not depressed or anxious but am menopausal, on HRT though.
I really want to get back to sleep but I just can't.
Any tips? I'm exhausted and bad tempered.

Amitriptyline works wonders for me, gives me a few extra hours.

Just three little suggestions...
Maybe increase your exercise so you are worn out?

Also, reduce evening drinking so your bladder does not wake you up.
And put black out linings on your curtains to make your bedroom really dark.
