How to prevent vomiting ?

My ds has just had d&v. I feel very ill and fear it's already got me ., anyone have any weird /wonderful tricks to share so I won't throw up ? Second time in a month ! Is it just me or is. There loads of d&v around at the minute ? Bah humbug

I had this twice, both times we were on holiday - oh the joy!
Peppermint tea, cola and breadsticks/cream crackers worked for me.
