I was suffering from neck pain and my doctor put me on Naproxen 500mg 1 twice a day with Omeprazole 20mg 1 once a day however a week later I noticed I was suffering with terrible heartburn so i stopped taking the naproxen on the Saturday but continued suffering with heartburn, on the Wednesday I then suffered with the horrible sickness bug but when this passed I was still suffering with heartburn so the following Wednesday I returned to the dr who put me on more Omeprazole 20mg 1 twice a day which I have now been taking for 2 weeks ( and we are now 3 weeks on from stopping the naproxen) however I am still suffering with this horrible sensation where I swallow that I have a lump in my throat/chest . I am a terrible worrier and as the symptoms aren't improving I am thinking the worst and can't help but think that there is something else more seriously wrong as it has been several weeks since I stopped the naproxen
