I had a subtotal hysterectomy in June and because I still have my overies and cervix I am still having 'periods'. These periods were light but heavy enough to need sanitary towels and to ruin my clothes if I was caught unprepared.
Two weeks ago I had a minor op under GA to sort this but I am currently having a period (today is day 4) 
It is very very light but is leaving a slight stain on a sanitary towel. I am wearing a sanitary towel because I am still getting watery discharge from the op, so I don't know how heavy the period will be once the discharge has stopped.
I'm not sure what to do now. I am very disappointed that I am bleeding but its a tiny amount, if I had bled like this after the hysterectomy I wouldn't have done anything about it but I was hoping for no periods whats so ever after the last op.
I don't have a follow up appointment so if I want to do anything about it without having to be referred again I need to do so now but I kind of feel like I should leave it and see what its like over the next few months. Wwyd?
