I had a motorbike accident 5 ish years ago and broke 2 ribs. It took a long time to heal because it didn't heal right but since I had my daughter it hasn't been painful and I've had no issues.
A few weeks ago I was moving something and I banged them which caused a lot of pain and a little swelling but after a few days it went down.
Then a week after that I caught that sickness bug. When I was being sick I felt my ribs pop and had extreme pain in that area.
A few days went by and I couldn't manage anymore so went to doctor who sent me to the hospital for X-ray. Stating there's a lump on my ribs and she's concerned that there bone growing where there shouldn't be.
Had X-ray but results haven't come back yet. The area is not as painful but still swollen/hard and visibly bigger than it should be.
Has anyone had an issue like this as it bloody hurts, and is honestly worrying me.
