Back pain after sickness bug

Hi I've managed to get the sickness bug from my DD and I was vomiting and had diarrhoea between 3pm and 9 pm today. If I drink even a mouth full of water I'm sick and have diarrhoea again.
While that's stoped at the moment (still can't drink any water, so thirsty!), I just cannot fall asleep - I have horrible back pain from shoulders, to middle back, to lower back and back of my thighs.
I had a hernia operation last week as well.
Any advice?

I can't comment re the hernia op but I had gastroenteritis a couple of weeks ago and was very uncomfortable and achy for a couple of days in the form of collarbone/shoulder pain, stomach, hips and thighs. It wore off gradually.

Make sure you rehydrate with dioralyte or/and plenty of water.
