Had a virus for a couple of weeks. Felt worse last couple of days and have been coughing up green mucus. My neck is very sore as is my throat. Went to GP who listened to my chest and heard crackles so prescribed amoxicllin 500 3 times a day. He didn't look in my throat but I am worried I have tonsillitis too. Will amoxicllin work on both chest and throat. Feeling terrible.
