Why does the brand of mebendazole sold here in the UK (OVEX) say to take 1 tablet (or 5ml spoonful if taking the liquid) as a dose (i.e 100 mg) when the World Health organisation material on treating adults for worms indicates 400mg is an adult dose. I am 48 and am very unhappy to say I have worms. 2 dogs, 2 sons 19 and 15 and husband in house so I have treated us all as I expect I have noticed them but we all have them. Does anyone know why the dose is so small here in the UK?
