Worried sick about my mum

For the past 3 months my mum (59) has had a sore throat and is constantly in pain.
Tomorrow we are going to the hospital to see the consultant and I am so worried. I just can't think what it can be?
She said it almost feels like it does when you cut your throat when you eat something. I think it is deeper down than the tonsils.
Just need to talk to someone really

don't know what to say to help blossomhill. at least she'll get to the doctor tomorrow. it's good that you will be with her because I imagine she's as worried as you are. I'll be thinking of you both.

BH, there are lots of minor things it could be, but it is only natural to worry, of course.
I hope tomorrow brings news that will put your mind at rest, and that your Mum recovers really soon.

How did it go, Blossom?

Blossomhill · 13/02/2007 16:17

Thanks everyone. xxx

Thankfully she is absolutely fine.

Apparently it is stress relating to not talking to my brother for 2 years. Felt so sorry for my mum as she cried her eyes out and the consultant gave her a big hug.

She had to have a camera down her throat and thankfully found nothing nasty.

That's good to hear. Hopefully the family problems will resolve too.
